Basic Firearms Safety Course

The class will cover all the material needed to satisfy state requirements as well as:
*The loading and unloading of various firearms (AR-15 rifle, pump action shotgun, and several handguns).
* An explanation of Massachusetts firearms law including instruction on how to fill out the firearms license application.
* Shoot both handguns and rifles. Most students will fire around 200 rounds of ammunition using our state of the art firearms simulator. Students will also be given the opportunity to sample our Judgmental Simulator interacting with wartime scenarios developed for the United States Military.
Upon successfully completing this course students will receive a diploma from the NRA in Home Firearm Safety (LTC-007) which is a required course for Mass Permits Class A, Class B, or FID Card.

Personal / Private Basic Firearms Safety Course
(Required course for Mass Permits Class A, Class B, or FID Card)
This course gives you the same certification as our Basic Firearms Safety Course with the added benefit of having an instructor come to your home or having an instructor teach a private class at our Framingham facility. The course scheduling fee is $140 with an additional charge of $100 for each student. Home instruction for these classes can be held virtually anywhere in Massachusetts. MFS Judgmental / Tactical Shooting Course
$85
This 2 hour class will give you the opportunity of a lifetime. Utilizing the latest technology in firearms simulation students will be placed in real life situations where accuracy and proper judgment are a matter of life and death. These shoot / don’t shoot scenarios will test the student’s skills in dealing with store robberies, mall shootings, and even the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan. This class is a must for anyone who has access to a firearm for the protection of life. This course is open to civilian, military, and law enforcement personnel. Must be at least 18 years old. Cost is $60.

Utah Nonresident CCW Class
$100
Get a license to carry a firearm in 30 states! Our Utah CCW Class will qualify you to receive a Utah nonresident firearms license. This license will enable you to carry a concealed handgun in the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Georgia, Indiana, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, Wyoming.
We will provide you with everything you need to complete your application at no additional charge (photograph, fingerprints, and notary services).
Our next two classes will be held on Saturday, April 10th from 6pm to 10pm and Saturday, April 17th from 1pm to 5pm. You only need to attend one class to qualify for the license. The cost is $100.

Responsible Use of Lethal Force Class with trainer and author, David Kenik

Responsible Use of Lethal Force is a 2 hour class that involves a thorough and detailed interactive discussion with David Kenik, author of the highly-acclaimed book Armed Response. This class will cover the following subjects:
- Justification of Lethal Force
- Disparity of Force
- Retreat
- Escalation of Force
- Re-engagements
- Defense of Others
- Defense of Property

Personal range time with an MFS Instructor

One of our Mass Firearms School NRA Certified Firearms Instructors will train you with your firearm. This training opportunity will not only benefit you personally it will also demonstrate your desire to take seriously the responsibility of firearms ownership. Training vouchers can be purchased before or after you apply for your license. The use of firearms and ammunition can be provided by MFS for an additional charge. Each session is one hour in length. Cost is $85.
